DECISIONS!!

Here is my diningroom at 3:22 in the am...The hired man's bed may be going into storage...It is taking away from my new darker color scheme...I've always loved that little bed, but it has been a challenge to put it in this house...In our other house I had it in our HUGE master bedroom....I don't know!...I guess I'll live with it for a few days.....UGH! Decisions!

And see that blue and white quilt piece hanging on the back of the chair?...A birthday gift to myself to add to my collection!!

With bed???....Without???....Maybe leave it til after Christmas???....All I know is I'm off to bed...

~~hugs, Jen

Hey Jen! I love the fireplace place in black! Makes everything else around it really pop! I'd take the bed out for a couple of days and see how you feel about it. You can always put it back!

Hi Jen,

The fireplace looks just wonderful black. When your goina do something you don't waste any time.
I really like the bed, I think it looks good, but take it out if you feel like it, you can always bring it back when you miss it.

Hooray! You did it. Your fireplace looks spectacular. Is the hired man's bed too long to slide under your buffet (like a trundle)? Barb

Your fireplace looks terrific! Maybe you could try the bed in another room for a while. In front of the other fireplace or maybe in the living room or den with a collection of dolls. Sometimes when I have something in one certain place for a length of time it makes it a little difficult to move. It's like it just belongs there. But....it can be moved.

Hi Jen! I can surely see your dilemna! I love the bed there, but there's no doubt with your decorating talent you'll be able to find another "perfect" spot for it . I would be hard-pressed to put it into storage -- it's so wonderful! Love the fireplace, too! As the other girls have said, move the bed for a few days and see how you like it, but I think the room is just beautiful with it right there!

Hi Jen...love the fireplace...can you stand the bed on end and use it to display quilts, linens, baskets, etc...? I remember seeing an old hired mans bed used that way a while ago...I think it was Kathy Barbour's (sp?)house. Good luck!
