WHAT AM I DOING??????

I ask myself again!!!!....What am I doing????....I had all intentions of playing in lavender and working with some early blue fabrics today along with leisurely working on my orders...And I mean leisurely, catching up on some movies, etc...... we're on a long 4 day weekend since Luke is out of school today and tomorrow also...No having to get up early and get him to his 2 hours class til Wednesday...

But the Springtime temperatures we've been having the past two weeks got he better of me and as I opened windows I kept hearing CLEAN....CLEAN....VACUUM...MOP...DUST....CLEAN ALL THE WINTER AWAY!!!....So what do I do???..I start pulling things out...pulling up rugs...vacuuming.....Now, it is all ready to mop....In the meantime I'm also keeping my eye on dinner...I started potatoes for a Low Country Boil.....Which has to be watched and babied....So much for my restful holiday...Maybe tomorrow!!!!...So what are you all up today????~~hugs,Jen

I didn't know until this morning that I didn't have Lili and David is gone for the entire day so I am catching up on the piles of stuff I don't get to when she is here or he is home. Nothing exciting but good to get it crossed off the list. Enjoy your clean home! HUGS!!

You have been very productive today, Jen! It must feel nice to have everything so clean. No spring cleaning for me just yet, as we are dealing with the latest snow storm, and the puppies who are in and out, in and out -- all day long!!
I just looked up a "low country boil" on google. I did not know what it was, but it sounds delicious!! I guess it is like the New England boil, but I think that may have lobster instead of shrimp. I remember my husband having that while visiting Maine! Yummy -- Enjoy!

Hi Jen, When you get done can you come to my house? I started some the other day, the more I worked the more I saw, the dust had really collected in some areas. My mom when I was young use to push all the funiture outside, to do the room, may not be a bad idea. I have been working on some rabbits I am doing for an spring open house today. Time is running out. Back to the rabbits. Vicky

I always love it when you share pictures of your home. I've been weaving all day, getting ready for earlyworkmercantile update. I'm behind as usual on my cleaning.

That is almost exactly how my day went!! I was all set for a leisurely day of sewing and then the cleaning began. It's kinda gross how dusty things get when the furnace is running in the winter. Once you notice it, it's hard to stop the cleaning. Hope you can enjoy your clean house and some real leisure time tomorrow. :)

I'm being lazy today...LOL
I'm off work today and just finished designing an Irish sampler freebie for my blog.
I'm thinking of the gazillion things I need to be doing instead though. Like housework. the dust is never ending on hardwood floors and the allergies are setting in so I must vacuum today and that's a big job here today.
Maybe I can get to some stitching tonight after supper.

Hope your day is going well, Jenn!
