One of my favorite things.....

is my basket of scraps that I keep next to my work table...I don't use these to stuff things..These are my scraps I use to back pinkeeps mostly...The 2nd picture is one of my favorite fabrics...I have had it for many years..I still haven't chosen anything special enough to use it for yet...But I will someday...And when I do, I know that the fabric is safely tucked in my sewing basket of scraps just waiting...

Until next time...hugs, Jen

I can see why it is one of your favorite things! there are lots of great fabrics in there!

I used to have a favorite Christmas wrapping paper that was a collage of old fashioned Christmas candies and I used to only use that paper on the smallest of wee gifts so it would last as long as possible and it did, I had that paper for probably twenty years! LOL but alas, I did finally use the last of it one year but I did save one tiny scrap of it and every year when I get out the bin of wrapping paper I take a peek at it :)

Jen,
Love the blues and browns. I have some favorite early fabric that I'm saving too ~ maybe doll dresses someday.

Beautiful Blues and Browns.
The full basket is an art form in itself!

Hey Jenn!
Oh I love your fabric pieces too! I even recognize some that I have myself! I'm not much of a seamstress, but I love homespun, gingham checks and calico prints....and buy the fabric just to have! I do end up using it for crafting ideas, covering boxes and a simple prim child's dress....if my MIL makes them....lol!

Have a great weekend!

Jen, what a prim way to store your scraps. Thanks for the idea. I love it. I have just the basket for the job in my sewing room.
