Awww!!!..Pieces of old blue and white cutter quilts...They cry out to me...Save me! Save me!.. Pieces to be made into something special while saving as much as I can and stacking together to cherish the craftmanship and hours it took to make these special heirlooms....

I hope you're having a blessed day!!~~hugs,Jen

Hi Denise!..Oh, no I couldn't cut up a quilt my grandmother made either...In fact, it is hard for me to cut anything old...But some pieces are just so old and torn that I'm going to salvage as much as I can...I envision some sweet little needle books....I even save the scraps...I can't through them away!!

Beautiful! I am also a great fan of old quilts, I am a quilter so I can appreciate the workmanship that it took to make them. I find myself buying these cutter quilts so I can just look at them, they have done there time so it is time to let them be displayed as it. HUGS MARY

Hi Jen.
The last cutter quilt that came across my path was made of all 1" squares. It was so torn and tattered, a true cutter. The very center strip made the most beautiful valance for my double window. I can't bear to toss the remains but I do have a few ideas!

LOve the blues and patterns in the old quilt. So wonderful! Nothing like the discovery of an old quilt.
