A Sneak Peek.........

Hi everyone!...I've been having problems loading pics on my blogs...I even had to go on Internet Explorer instead of Mozilla to get these loaded...My computer has been acting up also..(I couldn't even send emails either)....So I'm hoping to be able to offer my patriotic offerings next week before I'm without a computer a week or so....

But in the meantime I wanted to give you a sneak peek of some framed samplers I've made to offer soon....I will let you know a few days in advance...

I hope everyone is staying cool!!!....It has already hit over 100 here...In fact Tim said he heard on the news it got up to 103 on Monday...UGH!...And that isn't even counting the heat index....It is summer in the south!!!!!

Stay cool my friends!!!...Well, back to housework, dinner, and hopefully some stitching tonight...

Never Enough Thyme sign......

Here is a sign I made!...The words are x-stitched on 14 ct. aida and then glued on a piece of scrap wood I found in the garage left over from another project....I have had the x-stitch piece for several years and couldn't decide what to do with it until now....(The design is a Good Huswife)....I haven't decided where to hang it yet...Either over my sink area in the kitchen where I have my drieds hanging or over the big opening leading into the gathering room...I will let you know!!

And here is where I hung the chandelier that was over the farmhouse table....It is now in the hall bathroom....This bathroom is simply decorated....And, Yes, the shower curtain is wrinkled....It has been that way ever since i tea dyed it and I have grown to like it wrinkled and textured along with the tea dye stripe that just happen to occur near the bottom.....SOMEDAY I MIGHT iron it, but for now I like it that way and it's been that way for about 2 years!...I am thinking about stenciling this bathroom like wallpaper also.....

Anyway the conversation went something like this...
"Tim, can you put this chandelier in the bathroom?"
"No, I'm not putting that in the bathroom"
"please, Tim!..I'm too short"
"No"......
Soooooooo while he was at an Upward meeting guess what I did????...LOL


Later that night......
"Tim have you been in the bathroom lately?"
"Jenny, what did you do?"
"Nothing"...LOL

Hi everyone!!....How are you on this Saturday??..I've been soooo busy this week working on orders to get out, painting more frames, family stuff, etc....I thought I'd pop in and show you my new light over my farm table...Lori emailed me a few months ago and asked if I'd be interested in it...She is switching from prim to English cottage decor...Well,YES!!..I would love to have it..So after I paid her,  and the time it took to get here, and then it's been sitting waiting for Tim to lengthen the electrical cord because I had to have mine swag.... It was finally just put up last Sunday...And wouldn't you know it!!!... I noticed when I took the picture that I have a bulb that has blown out...Oh, well!

Today I had a friend of a friend of a friend call and ask to see my home...She is a primitive decorator also and had been wanting to meet me since last summer when my home was in the Mercantile Gatherings magazine.....So I ran around and got the house presentable for her to stop by....Now, if I can only get everyone to make no messes the rest of the weekend....Awwww! A girl can dream can't she?!?!?  lol

I will share with you some tweaking I've been doing in my next posts!...And where I put that chandelier that was over the table...I love it's new home!!
