Whatcha Working On Wednesday!!!

Guess what I finally got finished!!...I have been wanting an advent calendar, but lets face it none are primitive!!...So I got my magazine from The Artist Club I saw that they had an unfinished one this year...I missed out and didn't get one ordered several year ago before they sold out...Then last year they didn't have any...So I wasn't going to let that happen this year...The only thing was there was a HUGE tree shape on the top...Well, that had to go, so I cut it off with my jig saw!!!.... Last night I went to primitizing my advent calendar...I wanted it plain to fit in with my decor...So what do you think???

Wow!...The weather here was heavenly today!!..Got up to 79!!..Yes, 79!!...I was out running just about all day enjoying the temp and the colored leaves we still have on the trees...Taylor had he finals at college I took her to and then had to go pick her up along with orthodonist appt, post office, and a trip to JoAnn's for some fabric to make some black, brown, and cream long stockings to display with my prims...If they turn out I will share with you!!...Until next time!~~hugs, Jen

Jen, I love the idea! It's prim and perfect for any decor. And best of all it can be left out all year long.

I adore it! I have never seen one like that before. I like that you made it plain too. I can envision a match stick sheep on top of it. LOL!
I'm sure your stockings will turn out great. Everything you make does.
I thought it was too warm yesterday. And last night, it felt very muggy in the house. Not fun for me. I am happy that the cold is back. In fact, today is so beautiful with it being chilly and the sun shining. My kind of day!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
