It is so easy for me to do these picture posts right now with little talking, but we all like pics don't we??...These are ornaments that I recently added to my big tree....I have enjoyed a simple primitive tree with just orange slices and the angels I made, but as Christmas draws near I want to add some new ones and some old favorites....

I painted the redware ornaments the other night with our names and dates...The samplers were stitched back in the 1999 I think....The little box is new...The Raggedy Ann was made years back and the gingerbread were made several weeks ago that I shared on a previous post....Along with one of the long santa ornaments I painted when doing craft shows...This week after orders are finished and mailed I'm going to make boxes for each of us with our names in them...Then I will add candies and such to open on Christmas day...They will lay in the branches of the trees til then....A new tradition for us...

So, want to share your favorite ornaments with us???...I will keep sharing as I add more this week....Have a good week!!!~~hugs,Jen

So beautiful!! Thanks for sharing. I have tried the redware plates and think I need a paint marker. I know you do yours with a brush, but mine looked bad when I tried it. Maybe after Christmas I will give it another shot. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Very, very sweet! I especially love the redware-looking ornies you made!
Would you be so kind as to share the paint colors you use for those?
I also love the little boxes. So cute and such a nice idea for a new tradition!

I'm loving your farmhouse! Love the kitchen, the keeping room....all of it! Where do you get redware ornaments to paint? I love that. And assuming your plates have family names on in your plate rack?

Love it all!
