Hi everyone! How are you on this beautiful Thursday? I know it is rainy here, but it's almost 70 degrees after being 75-80 for the past week....A bit too warm when you're sweating in the kitchen while cooking dinner....Not ready for it being that hot...So, it is pretty perfect today and the drizzle of rain isn't bothering me one bit even if it is grocery day...

I guess you've noticed some changes...My graphic artist daughter who graduates in May with her degree has been itching to simplify my blog...I ask "Aren't graphic artists suppose to be flamboyant and colorful?" Apparently not...She said it needed to be simplified and organized. Then she brought me a list of things she is going to do...So, for 2 days my blog was off blogger while she cleaned it up a bit and deleted everything...I about had a panic attack! lol ...But I put my foot down at springy colors...My drabby brown was to stay...So, things will be added and changed over the coming weeks...It's a work in progress!

I LOVE the sampler I finished yesterday and antiqued...It's a Stacy Nash design...She offered these a few months back on her blog and I loved it instantly...And when I read that she wouldn't be making this design into a pattern to sell I knew I had to have the kit...Did I say I LOVE this sampler??? I haven't decided how I will finish it yet...

Don't forget to check out the Primitive Handmades Mercantile tomorrow....We will be updating this evening...The button is on my left sidebar...Be sure to check out everyone's offerings and sign up for the newsletter...

I'm off to get some more things done before time to go get Luke...I hope everyone is having a blessed day!!

From the Farmhouse~~hugs,Jen

I like the new look, but I'm with you the brown has to stay. Your daughter should hire out and help all those that have blogs that need a little simplifying, I would think she be in high demand. I like your sampler finish Stacy does have some fine designs.

Hi Jen...I love the new look of your blog and have been meaning to re-do some things on mine as well...maybe someday soon! Your "Stacy" sampler is beautiful, and I'm with you on the weather thing...I need a couple more months of the cooler weather before we get hit with the heat and humidity. Enjoy your day, Tina
