COUNTRY SAMPLER SHOOT DRAWING NEAR!!!

Wow!!!!...I have 88 posts!!...I can't believe it!!...I guess I better be thinking about a giveaway in the near future!...I never thought I had that much to say....Thank you so much for visiting and coming back!!

Ok, alot going on here...The Country Sampler shoot is scheduled for next Wednesday...Am I feeling the pressure???...Well, I wasn't til I got an email from Bill (the photographer) last night...It's getting close!!

This is a short post, but not short on pics!....Alot of changes in the familyroom....

From this...

To this.......

Not through with this arrangement yet!!!...More baskets to add!!

I have rearranged this cabinet a hundred times!!!...So no telling what it will have in it by time for the shoot...My sister, Heather, fussed because I had moved the plates!!..Plates... no plates....that is the question!!??!!

LOL...And for everyone that says they can't believe my home has a 2 1/2 year old living in it...This is my familyroom everyday during playtime...See the wooden crate to the right of the trunk??...That is what I keep his toys in...I'm always on the lookout for them....So, Yes!.. I have a toddler and a teenager that lives here!!

I have more to share, but it will have to wait til next time!!....Busy!...Busy!.....Busy!!!!!!!.....Time to work in the bedroom....hugs, Jen

Oh I remember those days of toys and stuff everywhere. I think that will be happening here in the future and I am fine with that!

I hope you have a moment to breath this week!!

I was beginning to think I was the only one with a messy family room. Have you ever noticed that I never really share any pics of my family room? Well, that is because I have blocks, cars, trucks, puzzles, books and well anything else you can imagine that a little 2 1/2 year old boy would like. I am sure you TOTALLY understand (lol). Your home still looks great!! Can't wait to see you in the CS.

Hugs,
Lisa

I hope you get a chance to relax before the photo shoot, but I'm sure you'll be tweaking until the very end! LOL :)
I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday and hope all goes well.

Take care,

I love the new look of your living room wall. I find the TV no longer is the focal point. It blends in al so well. I can't stop looking at it...LOL. I completely know what you mean on changing things up. I have been doing that here for the past few days...LOL

Now I can't wait for you to be featured in CS. I will be looking forward to that issue.

You know, I know what you mean by people questioning if there are children living in the house...LOL. I do the same. Got to hide things at times...LOL

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and can't wait to see some more pics.

I absolutely love your style. I totally appreciate that picture of the kid's mess. Sometimes I get down when I see these blog pics of perfection and think, "I have 2 boys. There is no way that I can keep up with that." Now I know that you guys have the clutter every now and then too. thanks so much for sharing, Kim

Jen, It looks great! You have so many fantastic ideas. I wish that I had your talent. I subscribe to Country Sampler so I will be looking forward to that edition. I shared your blog with my daughter, which loves primitive decor as well. She love the stands that you recently painted. I need to run to Michael's and see if they have any in stock. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Hello Jen,
Everything looks so amazing!!! Of course, it always does!! I am so excited to see your home in CS. I love the way you decorate and get so much inspiration from your photos!!!
I just got my very first issue of MG a couple of weeks ago. I am completely in love with that magazine now. I have looked at your photos in there about 1000 times now!! Love it!

I can totally relate with the last photo. No toddlers here but I do have two teenagers. Just exchange the toys with dirty dishes, clothes, and books... and that is my house! LOL!
