Baking~~Dolls~~And two work days left

Hi everyone!...I hope you've had a great weekend!!!....Two more days til the photoshoot and what am I doing????...I'm baking!!!!

Yes, baking!!....My farmhouse table is loaded down with items that has to be placed or hid before the shoot....And I'm in the kitchen baking...

It's better for me to work at night when everyone is in the bed...I find that as I straighten a room when I come back it isn't as I left it...Especially with a 2 1/2 year old...Oh my goodness!!!...I will be up all night Tuesday night getting the rooms set up after Luke goes to bed!!..ha!ha!....

I'm working on my list of what must be finished each day in the next two days...And who scheduled a follow-up doctor's appt on Tuesday!!!!...Was that me???...Was I insane???...I think I was!!!!!

I went out today and got some last minute items and I think I may have to go out one more time...No, I know!!!...I guess I will make that trip after the doctor's appt on Tuesday...

I want to share my newest dolls with you!!!...I ordered them from Sandy of Missouri Dry Goods...She is soooooo sweet and talented!!!...Don't you love them???!!!!!....I know I squealed when I opened the box...I was pulling out of the driveway and I stopped to open the box in the car...With no knife or scissors to cut the tape....Gosh!..Was that ever a task!!...But I got it open and I was soooooooo excited!!!...They are perfect for my home!!!...They were well worth the wait...I had ordered them several months ago...But Sandy was taking a trip and then she had computer problems and wasn't able to contact me....But they are now in my home and I absolutely love them!!!..

This one has already found a home in one of my favorite primitive chairs that hides most of the tv wires and outlet....

I find as I get ready for this shoot that I'm trying to really simplify things...That is the look I strive for and captures my attention the most....I have added the plates back to the cabinet and only added 5 things inside it with them along with 3 small baskets on the top that Pam (basketsnprims blog) has made me...Pam has made a bunch of my baskets and I will share them with you soon...
Oh, there goes the timer!!...I've got to get the goodies out of the oven!!...
Until next time!!!....hugs, Jen

Jen, I'm so excited for you! Just from reading your posts and seeing the photos on your blog, you will not have to work to impress CS! You have a great knack for decorating and creating and the love you put into everything shows.
Try not to exhaust yourself as you prepare for the photo shoot. I hope it will be an enjoyable experience for you, more-so than stressful! LOL!

Oh how nerve racking! It's kind of a nervous excitment and the best fun you ever had. It's no comparision, but I have had our home on a couple Christmas home tours where the community trapes through to look at all your Christmas decor. There was so much pressure to have it look wonderful but at the same time it WAS SO MUCH FUN! I can't wait to see yours in the features layout!! Love the prim dolls, too.

Those are really cute dolls.
I wish you the best of luck tomorrow for you shoot. But I know everything will go well ;) But trust me, I would be just like you. Heih...these pics will be in the CS for the world to see. That is what I would be saying...LOL. Hubby never understands why I can move something like a 100 times before I find that right spot.

I can't wait for this issue to come out, so I will be able to see your wonderful home :)

Keep us posted on how things go...and have a fun day :)
