Jen, I was praying that this would happen and that your brother would find it in his heart to forgive his son's friend which I am sure is VERY upset.

I am praying the great Lord of our's helps you to get your vocal cords back and you are able to sing that song at your Newphew's funreal. My family is praying for your entire family.

Please let your brother know that there are so many of us praying for him and all of you.
God Bless,
Tricia and family

Thats great that he can be such a witness for the Lord. I can only imagine how that made everyone involved feel. Give him an extra hug for me, I will continue to lift everyone involved up to God, may you all find comfort from this. Little Rob would want his friend forgiven.

My goodness, your story leaves tears in my eyes. I have a friend who lost their teenage daughter in a shooting as well. These precious children, it's so hard to say goodbye to them.

Sending prayers and good thoughts your way.

May the New Year sooth your souls and bring you peace.

Take Care,
Robin

Jen I am so happy to her this. I'm sure this boy is beside himself as well for what happened.
Your brother is so strong and because he loves the Lord and trusts in him he is doing what is right.

I have read so many Amish Fiction books and they all preach to FORGIVE and let the Lord take on your burden or it will take you down faster than anything holding onto blame and guilt.

Bless him dear girl.

I'm so very sorry about the loss of your nephew. There's no greater heartache than the loss of a child. Your brother shows great compassion for the hurting of the friend involved--for they will also carry such a heavy burden of loss and guilt. I've been praying for you all since I read of the accident on your blog. I pray that our Lord will wrap his arms around you all, and give you strength.

I am thinking of you and your family so often, Jenn. I am also praying for the other family involved. What a terrible tradegy.

I can not even imagine the grief over the loss of a child. My middle son is 13 and I look at him and tears well up for your loss.

Please extend my heart felt condolences to your brother. He has given a wonderful gift to himself and to that other family when he gave forgiveness. His faith in Jesus Christ our Savior shines through.

I continue to pray daily and now I will add for healing to take place for you and your voice so you can sing in a strong voice at your nephew's funeral.

In the words of Psalm 91,"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."

I hope peace and healing come to your family as well as to the other family in this terrible tradegy.

Oh, Jen, I didn't realize that your family was going through this, my heart breaks for your family! My family just went through this! My 22 year old nephew was taken from us in a tragic accident on the freeway, while on his way home to Utah over Thanksgiving weekend! I wish that your brother could talk to my brother! My brother and his family have found so much peace! They to have forgiven the kid (also 22) that hit my nephew on the freeway! They know that this was an accident and that this kid's life has been changed forever to! Please know that I'll be keeping your family in my prayers and I'll be praying that you'll be able to sing at your nephew's service! If you need to talk please contact me through my website! ~Hugs~, Kim
