 Total devastation in my husband's hometown of Trenton....A small town nestled between Sand Mountain and Lookout Mtn....As the storm was approaching i was trying to call my granny and aunt that live there....We have family there on my side and Tim's....It's UNBELIEVABLE!!!!...We still can't wrap our minds around it....Tim's parents and one other home was the only 2 in their neighborhood that are liveable we were told....They are sleeping in their hallway tonight, but part of their roof is gone....The woods behind their house are gone and Tim's dad said he though it went through the backyard....A tree fell on their truck and they are unable to get out of the subdivision....


I've also been on the phone with my mom tonight as sirens were going off in their town...They are above Atlanta....Now I'm waiting and watching the radar...We're suppose to get it around 3 am....

Lord Jesus, be with the south tonight and ones in the path of these storms....Hold your mighty hand of protection over us as the storms pass...In your name...Amen!!!

    So sorry for your family. I can totally understand as I lost my house in a tornado in 1983 when I was a teenager. Thankfully no one was hurt but I lost everything. The fear of storms that follows can be overwhelming for a long time afterwards, I still keep an eye to the sky and faithfully watch the weather channel all summer. My heart & prayers go out to you & your family. ~Kriss~

    Jen,
    I truly hope your family is okay. It came trough my neck of the woods at 3:30 am this morning. We had 2 small twisters just up from me. No casualties, thank God. Prayers being sent your way.

    Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. We actually was under a tornado warning all night last night here in West Virgina. Strange I know. It was very scary!!Stay safe. Blessings~Christina

    That is so terrible and frighting...They even had a tornado warning here in upstate NY. Lets hope this terrible spring weather doesn't last much longer and we can have a nice quiet summer. My thoughts go out to you and all that have been affected.

    Our area was ravaged several weeks ago by tornadoes - folks are still trying to recover. I can totally relate to the feelings you're having. Praying for your loved ones and others in this devastating path. Robin
