I wanted to finally share my fireplace mantle with you...If you remember back at Christmas it was white...Well, yesterday I was taking pics and shifting the family from room to room to do this....Tim sat down as I was clicking and I told him he'd be on my blog, so here he is.....

Doesn't he look relaxed!!!!????!!!!.....Did you notice the fireplace????...I absolutely love the blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally found it!!!...I have been searching on ebay for this pattern from the 80's....Every once in a while I'd do a search and nothing would pop up....Well, GUESS WHAT!!!!...I found it and now I have it in my possession!!!!!YEAH!!!
As you can see in my home I collect pottery and I wanted this x-stitch pattern ....Perserverance pays off!!!!!

Jen...the color of the mantle is beeeutiful! Love it better in blue. Everything always looks so neat and in place. You would never know there is a 2 year old there.

Jen, your coverlet looks great both ways. I think your mantle looks wonderful. Love the blue on it. Tim does look comfy. That's the way my DH looks most evenings. What a great pattern. Can't wait to see it done up.

I am using more of that old mason jar aqua and a deep midnight blue...sounds odd but really it's quite nice...
Your DH seems so unconcerned that he's in your "shot"....lol!
DH would have his hand stuck up in front of his face....he hates having his picture made! lol!!
