My patterns in a slideshow!

Hi everyone on this glorious Sunday afternoon!!!...What a beautiful day it is here today...But it would be just as wonderful if it was rainy out!!..Enjoy every day!!

I wanted to share my new shelf I got yesterday...My first treat to myself for this month...And I must explain that my birthday isn't til the 27th of this month, but I start at the first of October treating myself...So thank you for the early birthday wishes!!!

I have been wanting one of these shelves for over a year...And when I saw this one on Robin's blog http://millstonemercantile.blogspot.com/ I knew I had to have it...I had been sent this little bag made out of early fabric as a gift from an ebayer and had been trying to decide where to put it....It couldn't just go anywhere...But when I saw this shelf I knew it would be perfect hanging from that little peg...

I also ordered some of Robin's wonderful soap, but I haven't taken a picture yet....So another day!!

So, for now my shelf will just sit here on my computer cabinet instead of hanging..I can see it when I'm on the computer and from the gathering room and dining room...

So, I'm off to work on orders after working on my "work in progress" picturetrail...I got all my patterns on there last night and just added my Fall pictures...So, I will post the link soon!...Still have to do some work on it!

Happy October...My FAVORITE month out of the year!!!...It's Fall and it's my birthday month....I don't cringe when it gets here..I celebrate that God has given me 8 more birthdays...Being a cancer survivor makes you appreciative of EVERY day and every new season....Especially when it was Fall when I was going through treatments, and when I was diagnosed I was given 6 months to a year to live.....But I was healed and given my sweet boy as a gift...

So, I treat myself throughout the month...I've already purchased some gifts that I will be randomly sharing with you...And OF COURSE, they are primitive....So enjoy this glorious month!!!....HAPPY OCTOBER!!!

Trying to finish up orders and if I do then I'm starting on a Christmas sampler while I have it in my head....If only I didn't have to sleep...WOW!..What I could get done!!lol

Now don't laugh at my simple Autumn decorating especially after looking at so many of yours...I've been waiting to put things out...My front porch/stoop gets such sun all afternoon and evening...The heat is so bad I DON'T keep my blinds open except in cool months or evenings....I think the heat could actually bake a pumpkin...So, since it has cooled off a bit, I picked these up this morning while at Walmart getting groceries....So, we'll see if the pumpkin and gourds make it til Halloween or perhaps Thanksgiving...I will be adding more each week....I plan to make another bench for the porch...I made one last year and it stayed out there for a while, and then ended up coming inside to sit in front of my window....I know!..I know!..I really need to work on my porch!..And maybe!...Just maybe!!...Tim MIGHT get my sign put up that Lisa made me instead of it sitting in the chair (since last year)....lol
