Hi everyone!..I hope you're having a great weekend so far!!..It is HOT HOT here in Georgia...I wanted to share a pic of some reproduction 1800's fabric I got in this week....I think it will be wonderful backing some pinkeeps....I only got a yard, but I think I might have to get another...I love the blue reproduction fabrics!!

Awww!!!..Pieces of old blue and white cutter quilts...They cry out to me...Save me! Save me!.. Pieces to be made into something special while saving as much as I can and stacking together to cherish the craftmanship and hours it took to make these special heirlooms....

Awwww!!!..My first primitive Halloween sampler for the new Fall season....It is a Notforgotten Farm design...You can get the pattern at Lori's Etsy shop... http://www.etsy.com/shop/notforgottenfarm.....I have mine hanging on my cupboard that Tim built me last year....Fall has officially arrived at taylors*farmhouse*attic....NO, I'm not decorating yet, but I'm starting on Fall and Halloween offerings with my needle and thread....

Awww!...And then the next best thing are reproduction 1800's fabrics in yummy colors of blues, brown, and creams!...I've been working on getting my stash built back up again..
Guess what came out last night???!!!...My notebook of Fall and Halloween patterns....It's that time of the year...I meant to start on them back in May and then June, but life got in the way and you know how it goes....So I can't wait to get started on some soon...

One of the things that really melts my heart is old blue fabric...These are from the 1800's...Some have dirt, holes, wear,etc...But they are wonderful!!!...I take pleasure in just looking at them and feeling the fabric and wondering on what occasion these were used....Cut from a favorite Sunday dress, a child's favorite dress, an old apron, an old worn quilt...What stories these fabrics could tell...War, romance, heartache, laughter, drought, such hardships, but such joy!!
I have some special patterns that I've collected like Stacy Nash, etc. that I've wanted to use very special old worn fabric on...I also want to make special ones that honor women of my past to hand down to my children and their children.....
And you might see a piece of it shared with you on a future offering...
