I spent the day doing some rearranging to prepare for Christmas decorating...Still lots more to do!

Doing some rearranging today to prepare for Christmas decor....I took my work supplies off this shelf made out of old wood and laid it in the floor on it's side...I had it here before, but moved it after Christmas last year...I put my old child's chair that Tim bought me on our 25th anniversary trip last year on it...A mixture of autumn and Christmas~a little pumpkin boy sitting in a bowl of gourds and a little primitive tree...

I found them!!!! I stitched these years ago and had misplaced them...They weren't with my Christmas decor...I found them today when i was going through some things...They were always one of my favorites to put in an old wooden bowl and some greenery for Christmas...I don't remember what I stiffened them with, but they are as hard as rocks...I don't remember the book I got the pattern from...Maybe i will come across it also....

Good Morning, my friends! It is a cold 32 this morning....Way below our normal temps here in our part of Georgia for this time of the year...Things are in full swing...We have had a rough couple of weeks as my husband had surgery and is 2 weeks and 4 days post op...Recovery is up to 12 weeks, but so glad he had the surgery...He had been in pain since the beginning of August and we found it was a bulging disc...Surgery was the final alternative after trying other things...So glad it is behind us as we work toward some normalcy and the holidays...

So, on Sunday i decided to start putting out my trees and white lights...I have found in recent years that if i don't start the trees this early that i usually finish my decorating right before Christmas and have no time to sit back and enjoy it...I enjoy the mixture of my autumn decor and the sweetness of the twinkling lights throughout the house...No ornaments or Christmas decor til after Thanksgiving though! Just a simple tree with white lights and orange slices...Today i will be working in other areas of the house and garage pulling out old wooden crates  and trees...What a wonderful way to spend this cold day! I think I will make myself some sugar free hot chocolate and get started!

I hope you all have a blessed day!
